- Oct 31, 2011 The food during breakfast is decent but overly pricey. However, the croissants and french bread are well-priced. The service is usually good, and the atmosphere is clean and comfortable. The restaurant is one of the gems in Oak Park.

It's like a haven for all things delicious and farm fresh. Can't beat some of the stuff coming out of the kitchen and they always have great beers either on tap or for sale.

- Aug 11, 2011 My wife and I have been there many times by ourselves and with friends. We've never been disappointed with the food or the service. Sometimes its 4-star, usually its 5-star. But we do have a secret. We almost always sit at the bar. The bartenders are top notch and really know their wine and beer. They're friendly, conversational (even when busy), and provide great service. Table service was very good as well, but the bar is our favorite. The menu changes often, usually with the seasons, and is always fresh. The beer taps cycle and the wine is of excellent value and usually is for sale in the market which is a great feature (and a dangerous one). Try to go when they have live music.
- Jul 31, 2011 I called them to make a reservation for me & my hubby. I wanted to redeeem my groupon this evening (07/30/11) so I mentioned it to the receptionist who was making the reservation. She was a bit snappy (no in a good way) when she heard my accent. So she told me that they were all booked for that night. So I told my hubby to call them back(obliously, he does not has an accent) and we got a reservation. Go figure!, right . We got there and I saw a quite a few open tables, which I was a bit disappointment.,But the food was GREAT. I love the watermelon/arugula salad & feta cheese & wine vinaigrette. & the pesto risotto Yumm-o ,plus dark chocolate-expresso ice crean & marshmallow for dessert even better. Thanks for a wonderful dinner & waiter-service. Not so much with the receptionist
