- 3 months ago Five years ago Bennett's was a dated, grumpy cafe with surly servers, airline wine and a menu that made Denny's look interesting. The transformation has been phenomenal. Service: lots of smiles, attention and both the chef and owner wander out occasionally to see how things are going. Food: Excellent selection of seafood and beef. Every preparation I've had there was both interesting and tasty. Last night we had a filet motion and a steak linguine, both excellent. Drink: Reasonable collection from local wineries. Decent set of microbrews for the hoppy drinker. Price: I considered it quite reasonable with entrees from ten to thirty dollars. Decor: Still eighties-chic, but now it's just quaint rather than obnoxious. It's amazing how good food and drink can improve one's attitude.

- 10 months ago Eat here often. Once in a while the arrogance of the staff will show it's ugly face, but overall the best place on the south beach.
- a year ago Big let down By Suepics After reading the great reviews- really expected a treat weird waitress, bad music, and the fish sandwich was a frozen fish patty Save your time and lots of money!
- a year ago A total let down Looking forward to an excellent dinner. It did not happen. Two meals of chicken fried steak, a childs meal of spagetti and one special salmon topped with crab, bay shrimp and clam sauce. Everything was overcooked and over salted, with the exception of the veggies. Fork tender is not the rule. Just a bit past totally raw and again over salted. Total bill $71.00 + Not a good food experience and we will not return. The service was excellent.
