- Feb 21, 2012 mouth-watering burgers and tatertots? yes please! A beer list to make a German blush
- Feb 5, 2012 My husband and I stopped in to have lunch today, Sunday, 2/5. We chose to sit at the bar. The bartender did not offer us menus-we had to ask for them, nor did he offer us waters. After we ordered one of the female servers kept knocking into my coat every time she walked by us. She, not the bartender brought us our food and basically threw my hamburger at me. My husband and I both ordered burgers and when we got them they were just covered in grease. It wasn't that busy but the music was full blast so we basically had to yell at each other. The atmosphere was horrible, the servers are just rude-they didn't thank us either when we left. We will not be returning to this place and I will make sure to not recommend it to others. Don't eat or drink here. There are lots of other more desirable places and we are both sorry we even stopped in here. I give them a negative 1.
- Feb 4, 2012 We stopped in here to have a few drinks before the Beer Dabbler on January 14th. Terrible and slow service. I made sure to gather every order for our group as to not inconvenience the bartender. He was a complete jerk. The couple in front of us ordered a bloody mary and he looked at them and said "you have got to be kidding?" I should have walked out with them. Will never go back.
- Jan 11, 2012 DON'T PUT $$ IN JUKEBOX!! I was here over the weekend with some friends, one who was on leave from Iraq. We requested several songs and some were country patriotic. The bar manager used the jukebox remote to skip several songs in a row that we requested. I went up to him and asked him why he was skipping songs that I had paid for. He said he didn't, and proceeded to put money in the jukebox to request songs that HE wanted to hear. Later he put a label on the jukebox that read "the bar reserves the right to skip any songs being played" What is the point of having a jukebox for your patrons if you arn't going to let them hear any of the songs they paid money to play......RUDE. I will not be spending any more money at this establishment.
- Oct 11, 2011 It is LOUD when it is busy, but the food is great, order your medium hamburgers medium well though, the cooks tend to cook them closer to medium rare otherwise they are great, the comfort food is wonderful. I love their yankee pot roast, and their steak salad is excellent, though I substitute ranch dressing for the horse radish. They even serve tater tot hot dish. I haven't tried that one yet. I don't know who served the naysayers, but we eat there frequently, and have always had good, friendly service, no matter if it was at a busy time, or slow time. I only gave it a four star rating because it does get loud.
