Top 10 British Cuisine Restaurants 2011 - gayot.com
- Nov 23, 2011 Had a very mediocre lunch today which was a shame as it was my birthday. The crab starter was tasteless, the duck breast tough and the vegetables unimaginative. Cheese board delicious and service impeccable but washed down with a cold cup of espresso!
- May 3, 2011 Enjoyed a lovely lunch today, an experience genuinely nice enough to be able to overlook the minutest portion of halibut I think I've ever seen! A little on the expensive side but hey, it is Upper Grosvenor St and the great man has got his name on the door! A free and last minute request for an individual birthday cake caused not a ripple of difficulty. I was impressed and will return.
- Jan 27, 2011 Great classic food with a modern twist, faultless service, lovely ambience, (the Chef's table is particularly excellent and the private dining package there was a contender for the best meal i'd had all year) Genuinely deserves to do as well as it does.
