- Dec 9, 2009 Great gallery! Alex's gallery is a great space in a very exciting and lively area of the city. A definite "must" location for First Friday partakers - there's always some new show or featured artist/photographer occupying part of the space - and Alex's own pieces as well. It's right down the Liberties Walk from Bar Ferdinand and El Camino Real, and very close to the Piazza and other Northern Liberties standbys. Great spot to stop in to before or after a meal! By and large, the pieces focus on Philadelphia and the surrounding areas, but there are a few from other locations mixed in, for variety. If you enjoy great art, a cool location with plenty to do nearby, definitely check out this gallery!
