- Feb 11, 2012 Any rodent in my house with my wife and little girls is unacceptable. When I discovered the Norway rat and mouse droppings in my crawl space I spent money on traps and poison the same day. I did manage to kill the Norway rat (huge!) but the mice out smarted me. Those little sob's chewed through walls and destroyed probably a quarter of the insulation in the crawl space. I called Pioneer. Jason the exterminator made a service call and enlightened me on rodent control. They are nasty, disease carrying, home wrecking little sob's. Within the hour Jason pointed out how they where getting in and out. I asked a lot of questions like how safe are the baits around pets and how do they work. I found out my pets are safe even if they eat the poisoned rodents carcasses. I have a year contract with Pioneer and it is worth it because the outside bait ...

- Oct 24, 2011 I've been online for over 12 years and I've never felt compelled to write a review -- not for a book, a restaurant, a movie -- what have you. But we just bought a house and when we moved in there were mice and, some large creature living in our walls. Pioneer was the second service we had out to the house and I wish they had been the first. Their wildlife management specialist, Jason, spent an incredible amount of time with us, walking the entire house to help us understand how to prevent future mice issues (the other company simply walked in, dropped some traps and charged us $179) and when we couldn't locate the large creature we had been hearing in the walls, he tested everything else he could think of and figured out that the phone line was vibrating due to squirrel activity in the trees -- problem solved. he didn't make us feel incompetent for not figuring that out on our own and he didn't make us feel like we wasted his time when our ...
