- a month ago The docs at Gateway will get me back in action much sooner than I thought possible. I severely sprained my left ankle playing soccer. The emergency-room doctor said I shouldn't - and probably wouldn't be able to - walk for at least a week. He put me in a splint and suggested rest, ice, compression and elevation. It would probably be three months before I was playing soccer again, he said. Gateway suggested a more aggressive plan, which promises a quicker recovery. After four days of treatment, I am already walking again. My entire foot is still bruised, but the swelling is almost gone. I can stand on my bad foot. The prognosis for a quick return to activity is good. This is just the latest example of how the Gateway team has helped improve my health and the health of my family. TJ, Victor and the rest of the team ask the right questions and customize treatments for quicker recovery and better overall physical health.
