- 5 months ago I couldn't believe just how beautiful this place is. I am not a native of Hawaii and I visited this fantastic area while staying with my family who lives about 10 minutes away from here. There are so many incredibly secluded areas of this park where you can sit and enjoy the phenomenal views and breath-taking peace of all the plants and birds and insects. I'm sure I sound like a hippie, but its hard not too when you are surrounded by something so beautiful. Would definitely recommend coming and for the more nature loving people out there to walk all the trails they have, one in particular I can't remember that ends up opening up to a huge grassy hill with incredible views of the mtns nearby and a creed running next to the hill. Simply amazing!
- 6 months ago Not really a lot of native plants, but well worth it. The walk to the lake was awesome and I would recommend it for a short tour (1 to 2 hours)
- a year ago Perfect for a quick get-a-way. Sitting out in the grassy hills tucked away in a snug area as your engrossed in the lush rich company of mother nature it's easy to forget your in public area since it'll seem as if your in your own private secluded bliss
