- a month ago I was really looking forward to finally being able to see this much talked about library. However, I was extremely disappointed with my visit. First of all the parking situation is ridiculous. If you are lucky enough to find a spot outside then perfect, if not however you must park underground and the fees are OUTRAGEOUS for a public library. I was there exactly 2 hours and supposedly the first 30 minutes are free. My parking tab was $4.50?! Second, this was more like going to the mall than going to library. While I am all for having a coffee shop inside the library, the other stores made no sense to me whatsoever. This library was packed with people milling around and socializing. Lastly, the internet connection was horrible. I took my kids downstairs to the children's section, which is lovely by the way, and intended on working on my homework. What a joke. After about 10 minutes, I could no longer access any websites. And if I got lucky and actually got a website to come up, it ...

- 3 months ago This library is great on the outlook and has much going for it. Beautiful scapes, friendly employees. I however, wish they would regard feedback with greater consideration.
- 6 months ago I LOVE this library! As a hotel Front Desk personnel, I often send guests to the library as a local attraction, and my guests always tell me how much they enjoyed visiting the library and how they would never have thought to stop. I always suggest checking out the rooftop garden (if it is open), walking the 360 degree wall (weather permitting), stopping by the 4th floor art gallery, checking out the kids section in the basement, and visiting the boutiques/shops on the first floor. It is a must visit place in Salt Lake City. And for us local residents, it is a wonderful part of our community! I live three blocks away and go there all the time. I feel completely safe even though there are some homeless people who come here as a place to get out of the cold, and there are always security guards walking around the library. I love going to the city library to do homework or just read and drink coffee. I love the library store and the english garden store. And the two coffee shops are ...
