- a month ago Hands down they are the best transmission shop in Northeast Ohio. I needed a new clutch in my Mazda 3. Not only were the the cheapest, but they also did it quickly. It drives perfectly now. Money well spent. My family has been using these guys for years, and we will continue to do so.
- a month ago Just had my pride and joy Avanti sports car at the shop. I new five speed was installed perfectly.. The craftsmanship and detail was superb! They are and have always been the best
- 2 months ago Just picked up my 2002 Honda Accord. My 2nd tranmission went bad at 130k miles (can you believe it!!??) ... and local Honda shop struggled to understand my problem ... said it was the NOT the transmission, billed me $1300 to fix some other stuff, then told me it was the tranmission! Oh yeah, they wanted $4500 for a remanufactured tranny. I don't think so! I found Jim & Son's online ... and yep, THEY ARE THE BEST. $2400 out the door & great customer service ... and a tour of the shop too. Clean, professional. These guys know what they're doing. Max is the grandson of the "founding grandfather" ... very knowledgable & took time to show me the worn parts of my transmission. Bev is the front office gal ... can't beat her customer service. THANKS!!!

- 9 months ago They fixed up the rear and front end of my Jeep and didn't charge me an arm and leg. Comes with a one year warranty! I would go back, but I don't think I will ever need to! They have been in business for years, and it shows as soon as you walk in the door.
