Favorite place in town to go! | My husband and I love this Cafe so much that we come here just about every week. We love everything from the fun atmosphere, music, the people who work there (who now know us by name), and the amazing food. When going enough times, you recognize that this place is truly a hidden gem. For a place where you want to get away from things, this is a place to lavish. There is a wine shop next door where you can grab a bottle of wine, and then you can choose from their regular menu or try one of their special dishes. Just beware of some basic things about this place that should be widely known: You are not served by waiting staff, Cash/Check only, BYOB, seating is limited and sometimes you have to wait a while before finding a table that opens up. It is not for the faint of heart who demands high class services and need to be waited on, hand and foot. Let's just say that we kind of have a "Soup Nazi" persona going on here for those who might not be readily welcomed. ... More » |

Various people get weeded out from coming back again all too easily, and will come screaming to the review boards bickering about "bad" service. I have had worst service at upscale restaurants, so I can't sympathize for their experience at the Olive Tree Cafe. Every time we meet new people, take out clients, or have friends and family visiting, this is the first place that we take them to, and they usually always beg to go back again before leaving. « Hide |
