Great Local Food | The Copper Turret is a great restaurant the features food from local farms and businesses. They have two menus that offer a wide variety of choices with reasonable prices (they actually reduced prices this summer). I have been frequenting the Copper Turret for the past two years and I have never been disappointed. They have changed chefs at the Copper Turret recently and I wondered if it would negatively impact the food but I'm happy to report the new chef is doing a fantastic job as the food has never been better. My last visit a gentleman named Justin waited on us, he was very friendly and speedy. My guest and I enjoyed the carpaccio served on a salt block, the presentation was really unique and the taste was terrific. For our main course we had stuffed flounder and a pork porterhouse that was really delightful. We finished our meal by sharing an panna cotta that was amazing. Disappointed. | We were very sorry to find that both Doug and Vanessa are no longer working at The Turret. Between his excellent culinary skills and her friendly and efficient service, we were never disappointed. Can't imagine The Turret without them! |
