- 2 years ago Stony Brook Chalets - THE place to be in the Smokies! I cannot say enough about this company and their log cabins! We were treated like royalty our entire stay. Pam and Ed Hill, the owners, made sure that the cabin was immaculate and welcoming upon our arrival. It was also very easy to find, and enter, because of how well-organized they have the whole process. I have to say, I made a "very picky" request, wasn't sure if they would do anything, but thought I'd try. I have always slept with a fan, can't sleep without the noise. Would you believe when we got to the cabin, there was a fan, just for me, with a little personal note from Pam! Loved it, loved it, and can't wait to go back!!!
