Occasional good music, TERRIBLE staff | I've been to the abbey pub 5 or 6 times now to see lesser-known bands before they hit it big. I like the size of it and the balcony area is nice. But every time I'm there the bouncers are power-tripping boneheads. I personally have never had an issue with them (except for idiot remarks on their end) but numerous times I've seen them pull kids offstage and tackle them in the process (despite the fact that there's like 20 other people on stage), they called a grown man's (like 30) mom on his iphone because they considered him to be too intoxicated. I was at one concert and they turned all the lights on and the stage lights off because the artist was playing 5 minutes past time. Seriously. Fire these people. |
