Reject club | Friday is the only night I go and it's ok for drum n bass, but it's loosing it's taste. the downstairs is now a restaraunt, so theres no dance floor and any other night of the week completely sucks. wed-thurs there's a bunch of thugs and yea, gutter punks on sunday |

SHUT IT DOWN! | Very unfriendly people here on Sunday! Normally this place has a really laid back atmosphere. Normally people SOCIALIZE here. NORMALLY they play trance and reggae music, but on Sunday, it's anything but normal. No, on Sunday it's Vampire night or whatever and these bitches take themselves way too seriously. They're totally rude, critical and lack the ability to act like civilized human beings. STAY AWAY ON SUNDAYS! |

I saw my first Liquidrone show here. B and I drove to New Orleans that morning to catch some uptown parades, but overslept and missed them. We visited my grandparents and had pizza for a while, then went on to see the show. The bar is up precariously narrow stairs, over a Thai restaurant that is constantly delivering upstairs. The bathroom is downstairs as well, and it seems like an inevitable distaster involving an inebriated person desperately trying to reach the bathroom, and a tray of steaming Thai food. We had already eaten pizza with my grandparents earlier, so we did not order anything. I would like to back and eat there someday. They had charming nooks with red pillows to eat at. I'm actually not sure if this place is even still open. The walls were covered in old, filmy mirrors that gave the place an incredible ethereal feeling.

The opium den theme from the restaurant still remains and so does the lovely 2nd floor gallery that hangs precariously over Esplanade Ave. It's a comfortable and dark and somewhat mysterious place, and we hope this current incarnation stays in business. -
