'Hurrahs Casino'. We all had cash in our pockets with nothing better to do than to spend it on booze, booze, more booze and ofcourse gambling. My mate Gavin and I wonder in. He heads for the black jack tables, whilst I instead wandered over to one of the roulette tables. My inexperience in the game made me nervous but I continued on. As a complete surprise to me, a waitress brought me a drink. I reach for my wallet only for her to kindly inform me that drinks are free. "That's fantastic" I thought. They do that sort of thing in the Casino's in Las Vegas, all in which to keep you at the tables for longer.
From where I was sitting, I spotted a stunning brunette! She was wearing a silky red dress and had long wavy brown hair. She was breaking my concentration, she gazed at me, I looked down. I drunkenly push forward 350 dollars worth of chips on red. I continue to watch her in my peripheral vision. The roulette wheel spins and stops on number 23, red. I get a 2 - 1 return, what a rush! I remember that I'm trying to impress the woman across the table and manage to compose myself and look suave, despite my rising level of intoxication.
She strolls over to me, again I try too look suave."My name is Cindy" she says to me. I try to keep myself composed and I reply "I'm Kai, pleasure to meet you". "The pleasure is all mine Kai" she replied. She then ran her finger down my chest. "Are you good at roulette Kai?". "Sure babe, just watch me play!", I reply, all the while I'm thinking "shit!".
The roulette dealer catches me off guard and say's "please place your bets sir". I panic slightly, then think to myself, "I don't want this babe to think I'm cheap. I throw down 500$ this time on red again. The wheel spins and lands on number 6, black. I lose, and with it I lose my cool. Cindy wasn't impressed by my pathetic gambling efforts. She leaves and moments later has her arms around another man. My mate Gavin comes over chuckling. "Bro I just lost 150$, let's get out of this joint". "Bloody oath" I reply.
