- 2 months ago Full disclosure: John didn't fix my MacBook Pro, which I had spilled coffee on a few months back. But what he did do was give me a thorough and honest assessment of the cost and likelihood of repairs. As it turns out, a spill on a Unibody MacBook can be the kiss of death, and in my scenario, things are pretty grim. While that's unfortunate (seriously, I'm tearing up as I write this), I simply cannot say enough how impressed I was by how quickly John responded to my inquiries, taking the time to listen to my problem, give feedback, and explanation when he knew full well he might not end up getting my business in this situation. My MacBook may be beyond repair (or rather, the repairs could cost so much, I might as well buy a new one), but you can be sure that I'll take any issues I have with future Macs (knock on wood) straight to John.
- 3 months ago Wow, I just simply cannot describe how thankful I am to John. I shipped my dead Macbook (without a backup) to him, and he was able to not only to recover all of my data, but load it onto my brand new Macbook Pro for me over the air.I called him and he was able to walk me through the steps I needed to set everything up, and after a few clicks here and there, I was downloading my all of old data from a server he set up.... I couldn't believe it! I had a fresh brand new mac with nothing on it when I left for work at 3pm. When i was home by 11pm, EVERYTHING from my old system was on my new mac. It was like magic! I definitely will be calling John for ANY Mac problems, and will recommend him to family and friends. (Talk about a life saver!)
- 8 months ago Sharon- 9/13/11 LIFE SAVER I was at a loss about what to do with my MAC issues. I had been to the Apple store a couple of times with various problems one of which was the "spinning beach ball" problem that was freezing up everything I attempted to do. I searched the web and came across Mac Fixer and decided to give it a try. John adjusted his schedule on a holiday weekend to help me out and within minutes of his arrival he told me my hard drive was bad and that was the majority of my problems. I had my doubts and put him to task at first but he stuck with me and everything is running smoothly; he will know be my resource for advice and any future Mac problems. Bottom line, I'm very appreciative and feel lucky that I found John!
- a year ago Highly Recommended I had a major problem with my mac and wasn't sure what to do. I found John and he got it running again with his expertise. More than that he came right away and at short notice which was very appreciative. If you have an issue with your mac, John is definitely the guy to call - highly recommended ... A+ service. He even taught me things about the mac I never knew about and offered technical advice.
- a year ago Great service I was having a problem managing large files and getting rid of unwanted files, managing my hard drive. I found John from a google search. He was on time, extremely helpful, knowledgeable and skilled. Plus he is a really nice guy!
