Terrible service, Expensive and unsanitary | We went to Rocky's yesterday evening and it wasn't worth the 154.00 for spaghetti and meatballs, a tiny piece of salmon over spinach (that looked like they bought it from Sam's) the Salmon was on their (special menu) that didn't have any prices listed, turned out to be (25.00) with only salad, Lasanga and Eggplant Parm plus two glasses of wine. The service was terrible, the waitresses were not at all professional nor friendly and they looked like they just woke up. They have one bathroom for men and women. My cousin found hair in her food but didn't complain because she has long hair and thought it could have been hers. To top it all off they tack on an 18% gratuity to your bill that they didn't deserve. I know this is the Big Apple and it costs to be the boss but at least give me what I pay for! Stay away from here and go down Spring St. towards Brodway there are plenty of other restaraunts! |

Hair in Food and no apology charged in full | First time writing a negative review, but this place deserves it! We were about 1/3 through our meal when my friend found a hair in her food. The snotty waitress didn't apologise, offered a replacement and was really rude. We both lost our appetite, they took the food, and they charged us in full for both entrees. Waitress came back and told us that "no one in the kitchen has hair" When we said we didn't want to pay for her entree they called the police so we left (after paying) I called to complain the next day, and the woman who answered the phone wouldn't put me through to the manager and hung up on me when I said I wanted to make a complaint. Getting a hair in the food is a turn off, but it was the treatment we received that made me so angry. Terrible customer service! |
