5 stars because of Ted(This is mike), he is the coolest and most friendly guy that works here. I haven't been here in a while and yes the prices have increased a little over time. I remember when a 400 gph water pump was still 15 plus taxes(best in town at the time). I do business here because the carry House & Garden nutes and usually have what I need in stock. Another plus is me and my pops would come in and get free habaneros. F*** Yeah! Some of the best we've ever had. Sadly the habanero plant got a disease and died :( I hope that a got a new one setup... That asian girl who comes who can eat habanero peppers like nothing also kicks butt!! Plus they have a rewards program where you earn credit on your account for future purchases every time you buy something. They remind you of the credit you have every single time, one time I had 80 bucks. And yes I did use it. Thanks guys, you rock!

This place is filled with high price equipment, all items are marked up than you get a bs discount which ends up costing more than msrp this place is a rip off. They try to sell you things you don't need.

This store is the ONLY hydro store in the STATE i would shop at ever. All other shops are highpriced imitators that never have the items in stock and could never have the level of AWESOMENESS that the Big T puts forward. Thank you guys so much for being in Business!

Great place these people who work here strive to give customer service and they have alot of stuff to help the small time growers unlike most grow stores.

Friendly and helpful staff...!! Granted it has gotten busier here, however there is a reason for that... !! I have been shopping here since the original Tomato owners took over the shop... I have been to other shops around town, including the one that the Tomato branched out from, and most are either unhelpful or just down right rude... The guys over at The Big Tomato are excellent and its always a pleasure to visit the store... !!!
