AVOID THE PLACE AT ALL COSTS!!! By A Google User - Mar 24, 2009 | WEEKEND OF 3/20/09 We played here for an adult hockey tournament. This is the worst establishment I have ever seen, and I have been to many rinks around the country. The overall cleanliness of the rink is disgusting. The ice conditions are worse than pond skating back home. Gouges deep enough to break an ankle in. The mens restrooms in the locker rooms had no toilet tissue on Friday evening. When asked for some, the "cashier" at the front window had a horrible attitude, I think I nudged in on his comic book time. The trash cans in the lockers were not emptied the entire weekend, Sunday morning, still no toilet tissue. The "bartender" upstairs, the most unlikeable, rudest persons I have ever met. I have managed sports bars for 15 years, if this guy was the owner, his attitude went great with the rest of the sh-tty service we received. We will never spend a penny at the location. My advice to parents, take your kids to the park or the movies, Iceland is a dump, ... More » |

Horrible Managment By A Google User - Jan 25, 2009 | I recently took 6 children skating here and after hours of fun I thought I would slip outside and smoke a cigarette. I have never been ice skating and did not know that I could not wear my skates out the door and there were no signs saying not to. As I stepped outside the door a young lady came and told me I can not walk out in my skates. I immediatly returned back inside and apologized only to be screamed at and humiliated by the owner of the rink. He insisted that I pay him $7 or I need to leave. I apoligized to him again and explained that I did not know and there is no indication on the exit door or in the building that I must remove my skates. I did not have any money on me because I did not bring my purse so he told me I had to leave. After arguing my point he called the police on me to try to get me locked up over the $7 dollars that I would not pay. I CAN NOT BELIEVE I WAS TREATED THIS WAY. I WILL NEVER RETURN TO THIS PLACE AND I DO NOT RECOMMEND IT TO ANYONE. BEWARE OF THE VERY EVIL ANGRY OWNER OF THIS ESTABLISHMENT.
