- Nov 13, 2011 I have tanned in many places and in many states. The customer service at Island Tans is the best I have ever seen. They change their bulbs often and really care about the product they are offering.
- Mar 15, 2011 Called to see hours of operation and they do not give that information out, how can a person come when they don't know when the place is even open????? So I will take my MONEY some place else. Thats GREAT customer service!
- Nov 11, 2010 Best Tanning Salon I have ever been to I just moved to Winston-Salem and have been looking for a great tanning salon. I have been tanning for 12 years and this place is by far the best place I have ever been to. It is family owned with two locations (you can tan at either one). The owner was extremely friendly and helpful. Walked me through the place, talked about the different types of beds, and helped me to decide which package would best meet my needs. There are amazing discounts. Island Tans offers great service and a great price!
- Oct 9, 2010 Best Salon In town I have been tannning at Island Tans for at least the least five years. The service is great and the staff is wonderful! I would recommmend this salon to anyone wether you want to tan in one of the beds or get an airbrush tan.
Jun 30, 2010 The Best Tanning Place I've Ever Been To I'd like to preface this by saying I am by no means a frequent tanner, nor did I really ever go tanning much before I moved to NC. I moved to Winston-Salem in the Spring of 05'. Sometime that summer I discovered Island Tans. It's been my go-to ever since. I've moved a lot since then and looked for something comparable. I've never found it. They have half priced morning tans (before 2 base beds are $4 and the rest are around 9 and up). My best friend and I would always race there in the morning to make sure we got such a great deal for a good tan. I've been to a lot of places that always advertise new bulbs and the results are anything but. I've never had that problem there. It used to be much smaller before they bought the area next to it and expanded, but aside from a roomier decor and more beds, little has changed.
