- Mar 8, 2012 Great service, was surprised how well the couch and loveseat held up. I bought the furniture in a hurry before a graduation party and am surprised how it has lasted through 3 teenage boys and their many, many friends!
- Dec 13, 2011 Horrible Products & service, bought a queen sized bed with a supposed voucher for $500 in groceries when they first opened, turns out the promotion was bunk, and they didn't honor it, or make any concessions. When we got our tax refund last year we bought a large microfiber sectional, with a supposed 5 year guardsman warranty. Since then we found multiple faulty staples that stick out and stab holes in the cushion fabrics, and the springs have all popped out in the center piece of the sectional. The warranty service is absolutely horrible. First off Carls never registered the warranty with the company, when I called, was kept waiting for rep over 30 minutes, gave them all the information, then they said they had to send out a form (that had all the exact same questions and information that i gave to the rep). Long story short, the springs are still broken, the tears in the fabric were never replaced. Again, horrible service & poorly made products, STEER CLEAR FROM THIS PLACE!
- May 5, 2011 Ignored I am a disabled vet and it was difficult to get into the store, I was ignored for the most part by the people that worked in this place. After 10 minutes of walking around, I left. Maybe if I pinned a 100.00 bill on my shirt somebody will help me. from the look of the other reviews on this site, it looks like Carl hired people to give them reviews, why would a person review a purchase in Los Angels one day, and Utica NY the next? I wish the attorney general would take a look at this because I think a fake review is fraud.
Sep 19, 2010 Surprised i heard a lot of bad stories about Carl Furniture City, but i gave them a shot, and i don't regret it one bit, their service was excellent and when they said next day delivery, Carl tried his self to get it delivered that day, but it was available, so he told me next day, and as he said it showed up the next day. I love it, I was so amazed on the quality of furniture I got from them, Kim was so polite, respectful and patience with me as I pick out what I need, their customer service was excellent, I have complete faith in their business and I will be returning to buy more furniture from Carl Furniture City soon. Thank you Carl, Kim, and your staff for the excellent service I received and you will be hearing from me again.
