- Jan 12, 2012 The people at this store were really friendly and helpful! We weren't sure about a few supplies we needed for our pet and they were honest and beyond helpful. They didn't try to sell us anything we wouldn't need and they explained why they suggested items both as a pet owner and user of different products. They also had a really great prices. We will definitely be back.
- Jan 10, 2012 I bought a 125 gallon tank a year ago and I tried to cycle with ammonia instead of live fish. After several unsuccessful attempts to introduce fish, I lost interest with my tank. The tank was sitting for 8 months without any equipment running and I was ready to call it quits. I found Fish World and Pet Shop on the internet and decided to give them a call as a last ditch effort. That was the smartest thing I have done since I bought my tank. John came to my house and got me up and running. He created a plan for me that allowed me to get fish into my tank within a week. He has an insane amount of knowledge about fish keeping and his prices are reasonable. However, the best thing about working with Fish World and Pet Shop is his accessibility. He will answer any questions you have and give you advice to avoid future pitfalls. He even tells you to call him anytime you have issues and he will walk you through the problem. Thanks to John I have a renewed interest in the hobby. I won't call anybody else for help.

Great Pet Shop!
- Jan 5, 2012 Great pet store. I was having problems with my fish tank until I went to their store and the employees took the time to explain the correct way to set up a tank and maintain a healthy tank. I will never buy fish from any where else except their store they really know what they are talking about. I would like to say thank you to the staff for taking the time to answer all my stupid questions, well guess they weren't stupid questions but you get my point. They went out of their way to help and for that myself and my kids are pleased.
Jun 23, 2010 not so satisified I have to disagree with the person who says this place is the best. Yeah it is if you want your pets to have mites. I will never shop there again, and they put down petsmart and walmart and all the other petstores they know of and this they do right from the start when you first get there. I had such an awful experience with such unprofessional people and their comments and negativity that i will not refer anyone here. I am now having to spend a lot of money to cure my pet from what it caught from their feeder animals. Oh and they take in unwanted strays and kittens and then ask you to pay 49.00 to "adopt " one when they don't even have a liscense to sell kittens or puppies and should not charge 49.00 to adopt something thye have been given to give away and then they don't even offer to flea dip them or even deworm them so what is the 49.00 fee for? it is a guarentee that they will have the aspca or even peta in there before too long undercover and ready to stop all of that mess.
