- Nov 4, 2011 A warning to others: (I will keep this short) I used to go here on a weekly basis and it used to be one of my favorite place on earth. The last time I went I was the second bite of my Philly cheesesteak I heard a crack and noticed half my tooth was gone. After spitting up what was in my mouth I noticed a half inch piece of stainless steel that was almost shaped like a spear. I asked the older lady if I could speak to the manager, she said he was not there and didn't know how to get a hold of him but offered to make me a new sandwich.....The bill to fix my tooth was a reasonable $104. Eventually I got in touch with the owner, Scott, and explained to him what had happened I respectfully asked if he could help me with the cost of repairing the tooth. I never threatened to sue and never spoke in a rude demeanor yet Scott still tole me "go f**k yourself". Just a heads up to others who think cleanliness of restaurants isn't important.
- Oct 28, 2011 ive been going to the philadelphian for about 10 years and they have always been a very good food for a great price. yes it may look a little disgustinging but they wouldnt be in bussiness today if they were violating health protocales. absolutley wonderful people who work their and im always goin in because of the value they give with the most tastey sandwich i have ever had in my life
- Sep 9, 2011 The Philadelphian is hidden away in a small strip mall, and is a local favorite, despite all appearances otherwise. The interior is dingy, the service occasionally grumpy, but the sandwiches are really quite good. It wouldn't take much to transform it into a local cult classic, but they seem to be happy just the way they are.
- Sep 1, 2011 Dirty place but the sandwich was pretty good.
- Aug 25, 2011 awesome!!!
