- 2 weeks ago Walking into this store is an experience of its own, immediately you are drawn by the colors and textures. The store offers an amazing selection of new and antique carpets which are meticulously displayed in piles. If you've never visited an authentic carpet store you owe yourself a good visit! Javaid is also a great man, far from the traditional sales man in New York. He values ever visitor that enters the door, offering a little story for the origins of each rug. My first rug comes from Carpet Culture and I plan to make it the first of many! Thank Javaid
- 2 weeks ago Chimera: I am SO GLAD I chose Carpet-Culture for the cleaning and restoration of my old (Mr.Bhat said it's a hundred years old!) inherited rug. They are wonderful, -- efficient, polite and did a splendid job. The old rug looks brand new.
- a month ago Javaid and his team provide fantastic service and superior value. His team picked up our rugs promptly and had them back on time and looking like new. I'm absolutely going to use his shop again.
- a month ago Real deal is unique combination of great services and great value. Even after reading all of the five star reviews you will still be pleasantly surprised. An honest mistake I guess anyone could make...However, the reason they are awesome is that on the day I informed them of the error, they not only apologized profusely in person and with a letter, but they immediately corrected the mistake and didn't charge a dime. Just taking about great customer service.
- a month ago Renee - Apr 5, 2012 Quality, price and service! I can't speak highly enough of Javaid -- and Carpet Culture is a gem of a place. If you've never been there, you owe it to yourself to visit -- it's like entering another world. I live in the neighborhood and happened across the shop on one of my walks. I was entranced just watching one of his staff work on the restoration of a carpet. I'm lucky enough to have an apartment filled with old oriental carpets, but three, in particular, had badly frayed edges, and one of those looked as if an animal had taken a bite out of a third side. Javaid came to my apartment the same day I saw him, and the price he gave me for washing and restoring the carpets was more than fair. I had hoped to stop by his shop and see them being worked on, but he brought them back too soon -- and they are absolutely beautiful! The biggest compliment: my housekeeper thought I had gotten three new carpets.
