If you are vegetarian or vegan, check out Cha-Ya for tasty Japanese vegetarian cuisine. Don’t be put off if you’re not, though — this place gets high ratings from carnivores too! The menu is so extensive that if you’re a newcomer you might feel overwhelmed at first (at least Karen and Chris both did). They don’t use MSG here and the wasabi is not unnaturally green. Karen loves the eggplant and the shitake sushi and Chris frequently orders the kitsune soba. The food tastes fresh, clean, simple and like you’re doing something great for your body. The service has been inefficient (but friendly) here in the past so be prepared to wait at your table before the food gets to you.
