The Best Sushi in Bergen County  By A Google User - Jun 25, 2009| This is not a place I would normally go to for sushi. I tend to go to fancier restaurants, where I figure that there is more turn over and fresher fish. I avoided Sushi plaza for a while as a result. Boy, was i ever wrong. This is the best Sushi I have found in Bergen County so far. Better than Hanami, East, Daruma and Umeya. And those are all pretty good. The food is always extremely fresh and really tasty. The price is right. The service has always been extremely friendly and helpful. They even delivered food right to my car when my daughter could not carry a take out order. I think some people mistake a language barrier for rudeness. Be patient and enjoy. |

SUSHI PLAZA IS AMAZING By A Google User - Jun 14, 2009 | I am obsessed with sushi so I have high standards and this restaurant exceeded my expectations! This restaurant has incredibly fast, friendly service and the SUSHI IS AMAZING!! The spicy mayo is awesome! |

Sushi Plaza By A Google User - Jun 9, 2009 | DON'T LISTEN TO THE PEOPLE HOUNDING AT THE QUALITY OF SERVICE! The lady does just fine behind the counter and maybe you may think the staff is rude but have you ever thought of that there might be a type of... "manners barrier?".. considering she's from a different country. Bottom line, there's no real problem with the service, it's more of a take out sushi place instead of a restaurant anyways, and the food in general is fresh and great. |

I love this place! By A Google User - Apr 3, 2009 | Sushi is my passion, I would eat it for breakfast, lunch and dinner if I could. Sushi plaza gives you the old stand-by rolls with some new ones that are different sand inventive. The chefs are willing to make you anything you ask for and make great suggestions for additions. I have never had any issues with the service and I eat here once a week. On the contrary I have found the staff to have endless patience with customers. |

Totally agree!! By A Google User - Dec 29, 2008 | Sushi's okay but the service is really is horrendous! the "do it all" woman at the counter rushes you to take your order and is very rude. Plus the place is expensive for no reason! I recommend the sushi place down the road on Closter Dock across from Wards-it's a little mom and pop place, always crowded, authentic and the serivce is outstanding! Plus the sushi's excellent!!! |
