For True music lovers humble and proud | This intimate store has a really wide and versatile CD collection, The staff know their stuff, and will leave you to browse without pouncing, 'else be super helpful. Long live little magic places such as Music Matters! With the demise of Musician's General Store its a great place for musicians and music lovers - not so far on a bicycle - down hill on the way back! . The owner has gone out of his way to order and stock music and accessories one might need in a pinch. I really hope that fellow Brooklynites seek out such a place rather than the easy click mentality of guitar center etc...maybe its not super slick - but what kind of world would you rather live in?( i dare say the other negative reviewers come from mall land - Its places like this that made NYC what it is!) Its up to you as an individual to support and create good and honest small business such as this. i am extremely thankful they are in my neighborhood. |
