Great patio, great margs | We've been to Merle's twice...once on a Sunday night and once for Saturday lunch. They have a great outdoor "garage" area that opens up into a patio and a really fun rooftop area. The house marg is great (it's not on the menu, so just ask for it). Lots of other fun drinks, too. The food is typical Americana food, but there are some fun surprises on the menu, such as caprese salad. The fried pickle appetizer is good and the pulled pork Carolina sandwich is great! I've also enjoyed the ceasar wrap, and they have a couple lighter salads on their menu that look good, too. Friendly staff, great atmosphere, good food, but nothing fancy. Go on a sunny day when you have time to relax on the roof with a couple friends and a couple margaritas. |

Home away from home! | Merle's is our "Cheers". Mark, Simon, Brian--the whole crew are friendly and efficient. They address us by name and know what we like to eat and drink. Great atmosphere and good food! |
