Outstanding | I bought a record player last Christmas and found this store not long after (mind you, after walking up and down Main St. for about half an hour) and go in every chance I get. The store owner is friendly, helpful and knowledgeable of his inventory. For instance, I asked him for The Chipmunks and he walked right to assorted albums located randomly about the store. Seriously, who keeps The Chipmunks in the forefront of their head? A mind like a steel trap, I tell you. His assistant is good at browsing YouTube and hanging out with his friends, although we once got in a oneupmanship contest over Mike Patton - as Patton fans tend to do - and he introduced me to Peeping Tom, but I generally fend for myself when he's the only one around. Overall, there is a great selection and I've felt like I was getting away with something on a couple of occasions ($50 Stryper album for $4, WOOO!) but it's so nice not to have to brave Portland traffic just for decent vinyl.
