Peets is a chain - so stop being horrified people. Starbucks is a chain too. Chains usually mean success. I love Peets. I used to live in Berkeley, and I was overjoyed when they opened in Fremont. Sujus is the local competitor, with a much funkier atmosphere but not nearly as good, high quality drinks. Friendly staff at Peets, especially the manager. Go Peets!‎

Peet's is surrounded by nearby Starbucks in different directions. Always good coffee for those who like strong and well prepared coffee. I have been to many Starbucks, Seattle's Best, Peet's and local coffee houses. ...‎

I happen to try Peet's coffee a few weeks back and I loved it. The coffee is great, the place is very relaxing and pleasing. My daughter played around while I had a relaxing cup of coffee. They have great variety and is very affordable too. ...‎
