- Jan 23, 2012 KCOMM is the best! Anytime I need anything for my CB setup I go to KCOMM and all the employee's there are always super helpful. They always show me the right way to do things and never try to get me to buy items I don't really need. I only use my CB for offroad/camping purposes so my knowledge of how it all works is sparse...but they always point me in the right direction. They've even gone out to my rig to explain to me how to make my setup work better. Been going here for years and have never been disapointed.
- Jan 16, 2012 Mel helped me pick out the perfect antenna set up for my new truck. It worked out GREAT!!! I first visited the store when it was on Mobud...Wow! Remember that? I got my first radio there 30 years ago! Service is still great! Thanks guys!!!
- Jan 4, 2012 I remember this place when it was at the location on Bandera Rd. I had just become a ham back in early 90's. I would go there, trying to soak information in as i was new to the ham-scene. There was even a club in the area. Anyways The old man Ted was the greatest, BUT, that is not true of the guys that worked for him. His son was very very bad with customers, and the other was Oscar. He (Oscar) would act like he was your friend, BUT every opportunity he would try to give out the sausage without the jelly (KY) << Toto, we aint in Kentucky or Kansas :( Oscar would cater to the...lets just say "clandestine operations" with our Amigos from down South. The prices on new equipment is still to this day, very high priced, Yeah sure I can get it cheaper on the internet, and I will, and I must, because these guys will screw it to you, and won't kiss you when they're done. - Dec 13, 2011 I am a new customer and a new ham. My first purchase at KCOMM was small but you would not know it by the level of service I received. I will definetly be going back to KCOMM! My next radio purchase will be from KCOMM. Personal service cannot be replaced by Internet pricing. The staff are friendly and take time to answer questions. There was NO pressure to buy. Love this place! This is THE ham radio store in this region! King KF5NOK
