- Jan 7, 2012 I'm surprised to see the negative reviews below. I've been bringing my cat to Dr. Patton and the other vets at Nobo for almost eight years and they've always been very kind and knowledgeable. My cat is very timid and they always treat her very gently. We've definitely had some big bills with her chronic condition, but it doesn't seem that the price here was any worse than our east coast vet or the vets that my friends use. I really like the staff and vets here and they take great care of my cat - and me :)
- Apr 26, 2008 TERRIBLE CLINIC!!!!! This clinic is overpriced and the doctors do not know what they are talking about. I have had 2nd and 3rd opinions from other very well respected doctors in the area and they were shocked at some of the things that the doctors at North Boulder Companion Animal Hospital told me. I know that I am not alone in my disappointment at this clinic. The last time that I took my dog there (about 2 years ago), a client was there with his cat and was absolutely livid at the clinic staff for the way that he saw them treating his cat. I strongly recommend that pet owners avoid this clinic at all costs.

- Aug 7, 2007 STAY AWAY!! I couldn't agree more with the first reviewer. I regret that I ever set foot in this clinic, what a terrible and costly mistake! In my opinion, this veterinary clinic should be shut down. If you decide to take your pet here, know that you will be paying above average costs for below average knowledge, care, and service. I wish I had a platform for getting this message out to more people. I would recommend the Boulder Humane Society Veterinary Clinic to pet owners in the Boulder area. They are great for all your dog/cat needs. If you need specialist advice, Flatirons in Longmont has an outstanding line-up of all-star vets! For avian medicine, nobody beats CSU's veterinary teaching hospital. Ultimately, though, I know you'd be better off taking your pets just about anywhere but this horrific clinic.
- Jul 10, 2007 Do NOT take your pets here unless... Unless you want your pets over-medicated and you enjoy being over-charged, do NOT take your pets here. The vets at North Boulder Companion Animal Hospital recommend unnecessary tests, treatments, and medications, and overcharge for office visits. My bill here for my dog's diarrhea? Nearly $600. After taking her to my regular vet? $70. The animal's well-being is NOT their primary concern - it is taking advantage of worried pet owners and getting as much money from them as they can. I can't reiterate it enough - please take your pets somewhere else!
