- Aug 21, 2009 Saved from medical bill hell Three years ago I was in a severe motorcycle accident (a van suddenly changed lanes on the highway without looking or signaling and I went underneath it). I was in the hospital for 9 weeks, 2 of them while in critical condition. After that was a lot of medication, therapy and more surgery.
