- Aug 2, 2010 Just the job My daughter stayed here for one night during a quick trip to sightsee in Cardiff. We came from a bare-bones hotel in London, and were pleasantly surprised to find that for about the same cost, we could have such a delightful experience in comparison. Our room was very pleasant, it had a nice bathroom with amenities and plenty of space for the two of us. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and made useful suggestions for our visit in Cardiff. We enjoyed our stay very much, and wished it could last longer.
- Jun 27, 2010 Location is central Location is central, and the staff very helpful. The rooms can be a bit musty but otherwise okay. Breakfast was good with buffet and a choice among full English breakfast, boiled eggs and fish.
- Feb 4, 2010 cheap but wouldnt call it a hotel! positive: 5 minutes walks from train station and very close to city centre. staff were very nice and helpful. good breakfast: full english cooked only when ordered! bathroom was relatively clean. free wifi and digital tv! negative: very noisy corridors: could hear people walking at all hours of the night! the decoration needs an update (think its stuck in the 70s!). the place had odd smells!! beds were very uncomfortable. basically you get what you pay for: a 2 star hotel!!! although i would recommend paying extra if you require a comforatble night's sleep!!!
- Aug 23, 2008 Awful Overpriced and dirty. Noise unbearable, even in a room at the back. No lift, stairs very narrow. Plug point so far away from desk you can't use your laptop on the desk. Peeling wallpaper - have to hand your key in every time you leave, overcharged twice when checking out. Avoid.
