- 4 weeks ago Had the worst service ever at their SPA. The entrance is at the hotel indoor pool so you are greeted with a very strong chlorine odor. The girl that checked us in had a scowl on her face and did not even look up at us when speaking to us, she never once smiled. Then she tells us that they ran out of keys for the lockers so she would have to put us outside to change in the lockers by the indoor pool where all the kids were. She gave us 1 locker to share for 3 people. We crammed our stuff in, and then when we got back inside the 'spa' area she said a locker just opened up, please move your stuff. So we literally walked back and forth carrying our stuff with us in our robes. We still shared a locker --all the lockers are rusted at the bottom (think high school gym). The massage was fine, though she was late to get us and her hands were cold. Felt very sterile like she was trying to get through her job. For the money it was definitely not worth it. - 3 months ago MontBleu had wonderful service. because my mom gambled there a lot, we got 2 comped rooms (one on a friday night even though it was supposed to be sun-thurs only) and 4 free buffets. It was awesome to bring my boyfriend from Oklahoma who has never seen Tahoe and he loved montbleu as well! TRY THE HORSE DERBY MACHINES! They take real quarters and are so much fun!
- 3 months ago The room rate couldn't be beat $39.00...however...for a casino it sucked. The gaming area designed w/ max of 3 machines in a row or 6 altogether back to back or a circle w/ maybe 4 machines which gave the atmosphere a gloomy and empty feel. Very few gaming tables and I don't think anyone won money unless one was at the poker tournament. The food in the restaurant was very boring and expensive and the staff at Starbucks wished we would just go away. No coffee, refrigerator nor iron in the room and my friend had fix the T.V. to work. My suggestion...use the Montblue for cheap accommodations and gamble at Harrah's next door or Lakeside Inn just down the street.
