- a month ago One of the best bars in Denver. You can go to a ton of great shows, get cheap drinks, and eat good food. I've been to a few shows and events since their opening and have not been let down yet. The staff is rad and quickly become your buddies. I went to see Raekwon this weekend and had so much fun! Unlike a lot of other venues they don't book bad shows. They are consistently backing up the title they got in Westword as best new club in Denver. I'd say they are here to stay.
- 4 months ago This is THE BEST place to see live shows, hang out with your buddies, and eat amazing food. I have been more to one show and will keep coming back! The food is awesome whether your in the mood for a burger (most recommended) or hot wings, Casselman's has everything. Mad Mondays, for example, starting at 8pm you can have a burger and wash it down with a 50 cent PBR while listening to the DJ spin some tunes that not every mainstream DJ plays (like Usher's "Yeah" over and over again)!
- 5 months ago Went to a big party there. Terrible acoustics, then with the band cranking up - impossible to hear and no place to hide. Only a place for idiots - AVOID! Too many other sane places.
- a year ago Best New Club in Denver? Westword has listed the 21010 best new club as Casselman's Bar & Venue. I decided to go check it out for myself. I stopped in on a Thursday night and discovered what a real diamond in the rough. Although there was only a dozen people at the bar, the atmosphere was great, service was good and music was rocking. I stayed for a few drinks and was going to leave when another 20 people showed up and made it more lively. I asked the bar tender about upcoming shows but to my dismay, they did not have much information. I will check the website for shows because asking the staff wasn't helpful. All in all, I'm super excited to see such a fresh clean venue in downtown!
