- a month ago Great day fishing with Captain Dave. I can't stand captains that hook the fish, hand you the pole, let you reel a couple of turns and then you can't touch the fish until it's cleaned on the dock. Dave will do as much or little as you want. (I actually tied on my own leader and hook.) He'll take the time to teach you how to fish. We spent very little time looking for fish and most of the time catching. Trout, redfish, pompano, mackerel, what ever we wanted he had a spot. Thanks Dave.
