An incredible gem of creativity and community I love the Fremont Abbey...I've been to many concerts and benefits here, many dance classes, and also receptions and events that have used the space. I have experienced nothing but goodness coming from within the old brick walls. The basement has an amazing intimate feel with great sound, making the concerts exactly what you hope for in Seattle. The hall upstairs is a lovely space as well. Check them out, and keep up with all they are offering...so much good stuff!

A much needed space... The Fremont Abbey is an absolutely fantastic non profit arts center. I've attended many events here and the atmosphere has always been very warm and inviting. This is a venue created by the community and for the community. Great space, good people, much needed.

Freemont Abbey The Abbey is a great building with a beautiful interior. It's great for events and hosts a monthly music/poetry called the Round that's awesome. Church of the Apostles uses the space for innovative services (with great music) on Saturdays and opens the space for other uses the rest of the week.

The Fremont Abbey I love this place. It's a beautiful old brick church building that has recently been restored and renovated into a warm, vibrant space that just begs to be filled with music and art. It's all been done with donated money and labor from a wide range of non-profit groups, religious and non-religious alike, which I think makes it special. I've played music here for weddings, concerts, and church services, all of which were greatly enhanced by the space.

Check out The Round at the Fremont Abbey Check out The Round on the second Tuesday of each month for a beautiful night of live music, poetry, and painting. Well worth the modest suggested donations which support the artists. This is a great venue in a great location, and it makes a great date night! More info at theround.org
