- Feb 20, 2012 I've used Perez two times in the past 10 years -- on both occasions their superior body and paint work exceeded my expectations. I am a totally satisfied customer. In fact, I've just placed my 2012 VW GTI in Perez's shop in order to repair a very minor front bumper ding. If you want your damaged car to look as good as new (or better), don't hesitate to take your car to Perez. His shop is without peer in the Tampa Bay area.
- Oct 22, 2011 These guys are the WORST They scratched my car while it was in their body shop - and refused to acknowledge it, or even to discuss it. Here's a big clue on how bad they are: they don't take credit cards or regular checks - only cash or certified checks (how often does anyone require a certified check?). This says to me they have had many disappointed customers who had a bad experience just like mine. I would never recommend them, and plan to tell Reeves BMW - who refers customers to Perez - that it reflects badly on Reeves Service as well.
- Jul 21, 2011 WAY OVER PRICED! I came here to Gene Perez auto body repairs to get an estimate done on my Volkswagen jetta, I only needed for the rear bumper to have a small crack fixed & repaint the bumper. I was giving an estimate for $900.00 so then I headed down to Maaco where I got the same work done for only $300.00 and very satisfied with the work.
- Jan 13, 2010 Job well done! I usually don't write good reviews. I only visited the shop for the 1st time when I came to pick up my Buick Enclave. Even though it took a little longer than promised, I am extremely pleased with the quality of the work that was done on my driver's side door. It looks as if nothing ever happened to it. Hank handled my car and he was very professional and very pleasant to deal with. I got a little upset about a few days delay, but I have to say, the wait was well worth it. I know that it was due to the cold weather in January 2010. The Bodyshop is very clean and cozy, it feels as if you're visiting with your family. Great job on the shop, excellent craftsmanship on our car! Thank you all who worked on it! This bodyshop does an honest job, cares about its customers and pays attention to details. - Aug 26, 2011 Ridiculous lack of service. I took my Aaron Martin in for a paint job, was promised to get it back in 60 days, they took 4 months without an update, then called me in a rush for me to work out the insurance payment as if I was trying to stall them on getting paid. They are super expensive, slow as the second coming and provide no service. I'd never take another car to them.
