indieScreen is a brand new entertainment space located on the Southside of Williamsburg, Brooklyn that features a sophisticated A/V room, a lounge, and a full bar. - From the owner

This place is so weird, like a cross between a David Lynch movie & Polish community college, in a good way. The screen, theatre, & bar seating is all vastly larger than the other billyburg movie theatre. You can even bring cocktails into the movie. Supercool! But, yeah, the movie selection & variety could be improved.

i'm happy that this place exists but it still has a few things to improve upon, like film choice and interior decor. it's a bit too vast and sterile feeling in there for my taste.

Very sweet place to see some "Off the beaten path" films. The neighborhood is nice and safe and there is good food and beer right around the corner.

The theater itself is nice. Very dark, fantastic seating, plenty large enough. The screen is a touch small, but once the movie starts, its not a problem. It looks like they're projecting DVDs so the quality is mediocre, there is a lot of aliasing in the picture. As of July 21, 2011 the restaurant and bar are not open. The furniture is in and it looks ilke it will be awesome. Also, don't show up too early for your movie, we got to the theater at 7:30 for an 8pm showing and it was totally shut down (metal gates over the doors, etc...). Someone came and opened it up around 7:45 for the 8pm movie. Its no problem, but if you show up early you'll be standing out on the street. The neighborhood is pretty sketchy if you walk through the neighborhoods. Lots of graffiti, kinda scary. Walking along Kent by the river was much beter.
