- a month ago Food was great awesome spices but they should use fresh vegtables not frozen but the food was delicous and will be going back A+++++ I think people like to pick on anything the spices at the restaurant are bang on the service was nice too, the restaurant can you renovation but you can't say the food suck because the curries are delicous in fact I thought they were better than the Host which charges 3 times the amount for the same quality you can get at The Madras Palace. I have been to tons of indian restaurants and south indian restaurants and this restaurant scores top points for flavour yum yum delicous, I don't know some times what the heck people are looking for seems like they go out just looking to fault any restaurant they go too.
- 6 months ago I went here because a friend bought a coupon on-line as a gift for me. I went with another friend and the first thing we noticed was that the place was very empty. We sat down and ordered the buffet dinner. There wasn't a large selection of food, and the chicken pieces were small. The "salad" was just lettuce in a bowl- no dressings or toppings of any kind. Our waitress must have been new, because she didnt know what a house wine was, nor did she know what beers were available. Anyway- we sat and ate, and it was so-so... but half way through dinner, a neighbouring patron changed tables. We didnt know why- and carried on. Moments later, I saw a big cockroach walking long a partition half-wall. I pointed it to my dinner partner, and when she noticed it- it happened to fall betweent he wall and her chair- right where her purse was sitting! She jumped up and quickly dumped out the contents onto another empty table in case it fell into her purse. I meanwhile searched the floor for the ...
- 6 months ago I liked this place initially because the food was tasty and the rates were good too. but in my last visit i went for a dinner buffet and i found a cockroach like insect in my food, and i showed that to the waitress there. To my surprise there was not much reaction from her side anyway. Meanwhile, I also saw two more small cockroaches wandering here and there. Obviously, will never visit that place again...after all i am looking for a good food as well as a hygenic place.
- a year ago Would never even think of setting foot in this place again! Went for the dinner buffet with my boyfriend (we both love Indian food). The food selection was nothing special. The taste was alright but I wasn't complaining. It was not until we were driving home that my bf told me he saw a cockroach wondering around close to where the food trays were but did not want to disgust me! Even at that point I was just going to forget about it except that we both felt sick after eating (something that never happens to us after having a restaurant meal). To be honest that kind of experience is not even worth it if you paid me.
- a year ago This was possibly the worst dining experience I have ever had. I went here with my mom (a vegetarian) an online coupon. We were the only customers. Despite that, it took the waiter 10 minutes to visit us, then another 20 minutes to bring us our drinks. We ordered off the menu instead of the buffet. We asked the waiter to recommend some vegetarian dishes. We were clear - NO MEAT. The food took almost ONE HOUR to arrive, and he brought us all meat dishes!! The food was fine, but I will never return.
