- Feb 16, 2012 I just brought two Apple Mac laptops from Pc world and they both have faulty keyboards and have had to be sent back which has proved a real mission even though Pc world sold me insurance of £300 per laptop it has proved to have been a real rip off as my laptops should have been in for one week and has just come back nearly 3 weeks later and one is now completely broken as in it wont even light up Pc world are not interested and keep saying its over 28 days so they dont have to replace it so its got to go back AGAIN!! If you go to the apple shop you will get 100percent service pc world is not interested in any sort of after-care service and riped me of for £300x2 for insurance which is worthless if you need your laptop back quickly ,DO NOT TAKE THE CHANCE OF BUYING FROM PCWORLD
- Jan 19, 2012 Ordered some software as a birthday present. Paid extra to have it delivered on the right day. Gave specific instructions to leave in a secure place and flick the yale lock closed after. Their delivery company couldn't be bothered and just left a card. Having ignored the delivery instructions they then wouldn't deliver until 3 days after the birthday. PCWorld did not acknowledge their role in this debacle. They claimed Yodel did not think it was secure. It was more secure than my own front door. I had to cancel and rush out to a reputable company after work. I have to wait for a week after Yodel return the package before I can have my own money back, so meanwhile I am having to pay twice. PC World are under the illusion this constitutes good customer service.
- Aug 17, 2011 I need help to contact PcWorld or Whatever Happens they are not answering the phone. I will be coming to London in a week time from Malta, and have problems with my laptop. Is it best to get the laptop with me?
