- 7 months ago Our extended family of 6 rented this home for our Son's Wedding in San Francisco. From the online pictures it looked perfect! The pictures were not anything like the real thing. There were large sections on the walls of chipped paint, missing window coverings, door and door jams rotted and unsightly, unable to close. The bottom floor smelled strongly of mold and the back yard a mess. The shower blinds were moldy. Since all accommodations in the city were full, we had no where else to go. The worst place we have ever experienced, and we have traveled all over the world including third world countries. This house needs major help!!
- 9 months ago We stayed at this rental for a week during our trip to San Francisco. The condo was in a great part of town. Potrero Hill is extremely quiet and homey. The views from the house are unbelievable; you can see the city, the mountains, and all the surrounding areas from the kitchen or the rooftop deck. The views from night and sunset were especially amazing. The whole condo was very spacious (even with eight people!). All of the furniture was very nice and the beds were extremely comfortable. The place definitely began to feel like home very quickly. The kitchen was big and would be ideal to cook meals in. There is a nice fireplace that we had on briefly, but it was never cold enough to need it. The temperature in the house seemed to regulate itself nicely (but I guess that's the result of the great San Francisco weather). As far as the neighborhood goes, there is a Whole Foods within walking distance, as well as a lot of great little restaurants. There's also public transportation ...
- a year ago Really a great place to stay, easily beats a hotel any day.
- 2 years ago Beautiful Vacation Home I loved staying in this vacation home. It ended up costing about half the price of a hotel room in San Francisco and did not have to pay for parking. Last time I was in San Francisco staying at a hotel, I had to pay $50 a night for parking. The brochure said there was views of both bridges but I could only see top of Golden Gate Bridge. However the views of Bay Bridge, Mission, Twin Peaks, and the Bay were incredible - especially at night. I highly recommend this vacation rental.
