- 5 months ago I think they have been evicted from their spot. I had reservations with my hubby on my birthday and it was closed up with a letter from the land lord on the door saying the lease has been terminated.
- 6 months ago it USED to be a great place when they opened up. But just 2 weeks ago we were there with a group of 7ppl and the service was bad!! We had to put our empty plates on an empty table beside us because no one was there to take them away!! and it wasn't even busy!! The food was missing, last few times they had more selection - this time (on lunch) they didn't have chicken wings, NO fish (any fish), there were only 4-5 (salads, veggies) overall it looked empty, and no- it wasn;t the end of lunch hour. They charged us 15% service charge for picking up our plates for us ONCE and bringing water!! I was going to argue about that but didnt because we were in a rush and I didn't want our guests to hear the arguing. Would not go there again.....after many times of eating there. They have become really bad now. Back to Mandarin!! =) Much further from us - but so much better food selection, AND they dont charge automatic "service charge".
- 6 months ago watch for everything!!!!!!!I was in this restaurant last Sunday November 6 with 6 other guests. the service was horrible. the staff was rude and he yelled at my guests. variety food was not great and at the end they charged us 30% for service when i complain they fixed that problem now i check my amx and find out they over charged me. i am filling a dispute. anyway watch for the staff. they apologize but they do what ever they want no supervision. very bad for a downtown toronto buffet.
- 7 months ago Don't usually expect great things from buffets, but this place was great. The food and service are simply superb. Guaranteed to enjoy yourself and have a good time!!!!!!
- 8 months ago My juice alone came out to almost $10 after tax and tip. It wasn't freshly squeezed, nor did it give me super powers.
