- 5 months ago Overall: 1 - When I come here, it's definitely one of those moments where I start laughing at myself and the complete ridiculousness of my life here in SF. So this place tries to be a white-trash-themed bar for the upscale Marina crowd (in my opinion). It's another one of the Marina-annexes that are scattered throughout the city, where we all go when we are feeling extraordinarily adventurous and cool. "Look at me! Omg, I am in SOMA!!" Do they seriously have the front of a 'bago in the bar? Did I really just buy a Jello shot?! More sweet tea please! Have to admit though that I love the 80s music. This is totally the perfect place for your next pretending-like-we-are-still-in-college theme party! Someone please cue that Katy Perry song about Last Friday Night, since this is totally that kind of a place to encourage such a night...
- 5 months ago Overall: 3 - Wow. I've neer been to a dive bar quite like this. BIG strong drinks and junk food galore. It's an artery-clogged lovers paradise, a heart attack looking for a place to happen, and probably the reason most people call Alcoholics Anonymous. Bartenders are as sweet as the tiki punch they made me.... They even comped me and my friend one free one each, normally they're like $7. But the drinks are like HUGE so they're well worth it. They have this gorgeous ginger Englishman making the junk food. I got nachos with cheese from him. I so loved just hearing him talk and he gave me a free otter pop! I will definitely be back there and bring friends. Oh! And Conan the Adventurer was playing on the viewscreen. I got serious nostalgia as Conan was one of my oldest movie memories. Remember watching it when I was really young and being smitten by those bulging muscles of our former Governator... Anyway, I digress. Go to Butter! In this case, Butter is really better!
