| If you want to put your kid in a school that has a few good teachers and a lot more teachers that are coaches or parents and have no quallifications to teach, you should foot the bill for the independent school. My children have been at collegiate, independent, and i have finaly put them in public shool which has the best teachers of all! The grading scale is raised for no apperant reason. All it does is make 90 percent of the school that don't have 4.0s look alot worse. Don't expect to get personal time with the faculty either. You can if you try hard enough, but the teachers at public school cooperate much easier. Finaly, after a year with your kids at independent, you can expect them to want a new car, to go out to eat everyday, and to go to an out of state college for no good reason. If you want to get your children the very best education, save your money and put it towards college. Pay attention to the classes that they take in public school and they will get a much better education any way. « Hide |
