| I did my intern here and the food is ok but the Indian Resteraunt across the street is much better service, food and price. the kitchen in the india cafe is Nasty small and really dirty. The cooks are not very serve saved certified. When they cook they cook it all in batches and when something drops on the floor they dont throw it away they just pick it up and put it back in the friar or if its already cooked they just pick it back up and reserve it or put it in the bowl to bring out to the buffet. The owner of the place will play you big time. I worked my butt off for free to get hours down for school and he refuses to sign my papers so I preety much worked for him for nothing, free labor to him. I did not say anything to them at the time because I didnt want to upset them but after I got screwed by the India Cafe, I am coming with the truth. -They pick food off the floor when it drops down and still serves it -They cut and peel a whole bag of onions like 5 lbs each and not refrigerate it just live it out in a milk carton -There are some rotten Veggies in the Chill box that they re use. Thats right reuse. I remember a moldy Colliflower they just cut off a piece of the moldy end and try to rince everything off. -Dinner is preety much the same food that they had from the buffet and just refrigerated to save for later -The Nan they make they make it in bunches and Also they make it sitting on the floor inside the mixing bowl put it on the tray and leave the dough out for days untill somone orders nan then they make it and put it in the oven. - THe new bathroom and new paintjob he did, All the Cooks in the resteraunt help him and didnt even wash their hands when they came back to go cook. -Ownership and Managment is awful like I said the owner used me for cheap labor and didnt sign my papers for school. I preety much worked my butt off for nothing. I dont even know if thats legal This is why the India Cafe is awful. Your Better off going to the bollywoord grill. I did my intern here, or better off worked there for nothing and I know these facts. And After all that I just wanted you all to know the truth « Hide |
