I have been coming to Krua with my family for years, and have seen Krua's ownership change three times. Krua is currently under new ownership (I am sad to see the last owners leave), but the menu has always been consistent in its quality. Speaking with the new owner and chef, he promised that new menu items will be added, including desserts. He brought out a complimentary mango and sticky rice and coconut ice cream for my family to try, and it was absolutely wonderful. We have ordered a noodle curry dish (that was a little bland, but he promised he'd add more fish oil/sauce, since that was apparently the problem?), a red curry dish (that was very, very good and spicy), a vegetarian broccoli dish (also very good and full of interesting flavor), and a vegetable/chicken soup that was very similar to pho and also very fresh tasting. Don't forget to try their Thai tea and coffee, also very yummy! :) Highly recommended! « Hide

Spring rolls were not good, bland, vegetables were old stale. Celery was brown, now that's old. Three of use had separate dishes. The Pad Thai was okay, red curry coconut chicken did not impress. Was expecting much much better based on reviews. Slow service for being the only people in the restaurant as well. « Hide
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 Huge disappointment - tandoorilotus - Dec 28, 2007
I cannot see where all the positive reviews come from! We ordered Pad Thai, Green Curry, and Spring Rolls. The spring rolls were full of old, dried coleslaw mix, with no flavor whatsoever. The sauce they came with was very odd-- thick, ...

The decor is dingy but this is probably the best Thai restaurant in the TC. The red curry with Coconut is wonderful, and the prices are good. My wife and I consider this our favorite Thai restaurant. ...

Just discovered this restaurant last weekend. Excellent food! However, the wait for our order was over an hour. We brought in beer and were charged 15% of our total food to do so! It would be nice if there was a sign or something to let ...

I'm Thai so I know what Thai food should taste like. Krua Thailand serves REAL home-made Thai food, which reminds me of home. My friends fell in love with the food. It is much better and cheaper than Chiangmai Thai and Sawasdee, ...

A cursed spot is now blessed by a chef straight from Bangkok and simply the best Thai food in Twin Cities, bar none. Watch out for the spice, it will kill you unless you realize these people mean business! NYC has nothing on this place ...
