| Called an ?Indian Highway-Side Cafe,? this Inman Square favorite offers mouth-watering authentic Punjabi fast food. Inspired by the delicious street food offered at Indian truck stops, Punjabi Dhaba?s menu is full of inexpensive treats. ... |

| The seating is tight, the line/wait is sometimes long, but it's always worth it. I have eaten there a dozen times, and have gotten take out a dozen others. It is super inexpensive for the quality you get. Great masala dishes. Great ... |

| If you like Indian food, this is your place. The food is amazing!! Lots of flavor and very consistent. Handmade Nan and a real tandoori oven. You get large portions and I just can't recommend this place enough. Only negative is the size of the place. I'd highly recommend it for take-out. AWESOME!!!! « Hide |

| First thing that caught my attention is quantity. It is huge and more than one can eat. Price is decent and food is good. All items made fresh or same day. The Saag Paneer at Punjabi Dhaba is one... - MeganB2647 - Oct 22, 2008 | of the only convincing arguments for vegetarianism, as far as I'm concerned. Unfortunately, their Special Lamb Curry presents an equally inspiring counter-argument. ... |

So they might ignore you while they take... - nomnomnom - Oct 20, 2008 | a series of orders over the phone. They might take their time getting to making your food. But it's good and it's cheap. Exception: one of the curries seemed to have canned chickpeas that were too bland (not simmered enough in the curry). ... |

Indian street food at its greasy best.... - JannaH853256 - Oct 20, 2008 | Not healthy and not even all that fast (for a take out place) but as authentic as you'll get in the Boston area with multiple varieties of chat to start you off right. and, cheap! ... |

So much good food for so little money!... - MiyaB7803 - Oct 16, 2008 | Totally worth a pilgrimage from Harvard Square, where Indian food tends to be overpriced and not always worth it. Best deal: the combo meals for two people, for those of us who have to have some of everything on the menu. ... |
